About Darwin Green

Darwin Green is a Maryland-based photographer working throughout the Chesapeake Bay region, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and beyond. His work spans portraiture, events, documentary and editorial photography, with an emphasis on people, place, and the moments that connect them.

His approach grew from a long-standing interest in fine-art and documentary photography. His ongoing photographic work exploring the Chesapeake Bay has taken him throughout Maryland and Virginia, documenting the landscapes, communities, structures, and working systems surrounding the water. That same documentary sensibility informs his commissioned work: photographs should not only show what something looks like, but convey something about what it feels like to be there.

Darwin completed the Lighting Masterclass Diploma with Distinction through Visual Education, taught by professional photographer and educator Karl Taylor.

He is available for portraits, events, documentary and editorial photography, and commercial assignments throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and the surrounding region.
